August’s new book story module is “7.1 on the Richter Scale” contributed by Mary B. Wacker, president of M. B. Wacker Associates. Mary was in Berkeley, CA in October 1989, at the time of one of the worst earthquakes on the mainland of the United States. She was not able to return home in time to give a seminar.
